Bruno by the apple tree
A free colouring page — Bruno standing with his honey pot beside a tree full of apples.
Free to print at home, at nursery or anywhere else. No sign-up, no email.
What is going on here
The tree takes up the right half of the page: a thick trunk, five round clumps of leaves and three apples among them. Bruno keeps his honey pot, which is the only small detail here.
What is in the picture
The leaf clumps are separate circles, so they can be five shades of green or five different colours entirely.
Colouring it with a toddler
One of the busier pages — good when the simpler ones have got boring.
Thick crayons beat pencils at this age — they need no grip strength and they do not break when a child leans on them. A scene has more in it than a single animal, so expect it to be done over two sittings rather than one.

The same characters are in the PlayKiko colouring game, where tapping an area fills it and nothing goes outside the lines. Useful on a train, where crayons are a mistake.
