Something broken, something missing, or a game that will not open. Everything here is short, and the email at the bottom reaches a person.
Write to us
Include the device (iPhone 13, iPad 9th generation), the iOS version and what happened. A screenshot or a short screen recording answers more than a paragraph. Replies usually come the same day.
Restoring a purchase
A new phone, a reinstall, or a child who deleted the app: the purchase is tied to your Apple ID, not to the device, and nothing has to be bought twice.
Open PlayKiko, go to the settings screen and tap Restore purchases. Make sure the phone is signed in with the same Apple ID that paid — this is the reason it fails nine times out of ten. If it still does not come back, write and say which Apple ID you used.
There is no sound
Check the silent switch on the side of the device first; on an iPhone it mutes the app even when the volume is up. Then check the volume while the app is open rather than on the home screen — iOS keeps them separate. Sound and music can also be turned off inside the app's settings.
The app closes or freezes
Close it fully and open it again, then restart the device if that did not help. Older iPads with little free storage are the usual cause, so it is worth checking there is a gigabyte or so free.
If it keeps happening, write and say which game it was and what was on screen. That is normally enough to find it.
A game will not open
Some games are part of the full version. Tapping one shows a parent gate — a sum to solve — and then the purchase screen. If you have already paid, see restoring a purchase above.
Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. We never see your payment and cannot cancel or return it.
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose PlayKiko. Apple decides, usually within a few days.
Ideas and things that should not have happened
If a child found their way somewhere they should not have — out of a game, into a settings screen, anywhere unexpected — that is worth an email. So is a game you wish existed. Most of what gets added starts as somebody's message.
