Questions
The things parents ask before installing anything. If something is missing, write and ask — the answer usually ends up on this page.
- Is PlayKiko free?
- A good part of it is free forever — whole games, and the first scenes of several others. One purchase opens everything else.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. One payment, once, and that is the end of it. Nothing renews, nothing expires and there is nothing to cancel.
- If you add new games later, do I pay again?
- No. The purchase covers the app, not a particular list of games. Everything added in later updates is already yours.
- Are there ads?
- None at all. No banners, no videos between games, nothing that interrupts and nothing a child can tap by accident.
- Do you collect data about my child?
- No. There are no accounts, no analytics and no third-party code in the app. Nothing is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go.
- Does it work without internet?
- Yes, all of it. Downloaded once, it runs on a plane, in a car or anywhere else with no signal.
- What age is it for?
- One to three. The simplest games work from about a year — things that respond to any touch at all. The sorting and matching ones land closer to two and a half.
- Which languages does it speak?
- English, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Japanese. The app follows the language of the device, so there is nothing to set.
- iPad or iPhone?
- Both. An iPad simply gives more room, and most children of this age handle a tablet more easily than a phone.
- Can my child buy something by accident?
- No. A locked game shows a parent gate first — a sum such as 24 + 43, with an explanation of what it is for. The payment screen appears only once that is answered, and a two-year-old is not going to get past it.
- I have a new phone — do I pay again?
- No. Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the app and tap Restore. Everything comes back.
- Can we play some of it without installing anything?
- Yes. Some of the free games run straight in a browser on the Play online page, and the colouring pages can simply be printed.
