PlayKiko

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

PlayKiko is built for children. The app collects nothing, tracks nothing, and shares nothing. Play stays on the device — always.

The short version

The PlayKiko app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts to create, no logins, and no data leaves your device. We designed it this way on purpose, because it's made for the youngest players.

This website counts page visits, so we know how many people find us. That is the only difference between the two, and it is explained below.

Information we collect in the app

None. PlayKiko works fully offline. We do not ask for names, email addresses, locations, photos, contacts, or any other personal data. The app contains no analytics or tracking tools of any kind, and children never see anything described in the next section.

Information we collect on this website

On playkiko.com — and only here, never in the app — we use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits. It tells us how many pages were viewed, which pages they were, the country a visit came from, the type of device and browser, and which site or search engine the visit arrived from.

That is all. We do not set advertising cookies, we do not build profiles, we do not follow visitors across other websites, and we never receive names, email addresses or any information that identifies a person. The figures we see are totals, not individuals, and we cannot trace a visit back to anyone.

The tool is Vercel Web Analytics, run by our hosting provider. If you prefer not to be counted, any content blocker or a browser's "Do Not Track" setting stops it, and the website works exactly the same.

Advertising

PlayKiko contains no advertising of any kind. There are no banners, no pop-ups, no third-party ad networks, and no links that lead a child out of the app unexpectedly.

Third parties

The app uses no third-party services that collect data. Nothing about your child's play is sent to us or to anyone else. On the website, the only such service is the visit counter described above, provided by our host, Vercel.

Children's privacy

PlayKiko is intended for children aged 1–4, used together with a parent or caregiver. The app collects no data at all, so it is fully aligned with children's privacy standards including COPPA and GDPR-K — there is simply nothing to collect. This website is written for parents, and the visit counter it uses holds no personal data about anyone, child or adult.

Purchases

PlayKiko offers one optional purchase, the Full Version, which unlocks the remaining games, scenes, and levels. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

The purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store any payment information — no card details, no billing address, no Apple ID. The app only stores a simple on/off marker on the device recording that the Full Version is unlocked. Nothing about the purchase is sent to us.

The purchase screen sits behind a parental check, so a child cannot reach it alone. If you reinstall PlayKiko or install it on another device signed in with the same Apple ID, "Restore Purchases" asks Apple whether the purchase exists and unlocks everything again at no extra cost. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Contacting us

The parents' area has options to rate the app, report a bug, or suggest an idea. Rating opens Apple's own review prompt. The other two open your device's mail app with a prepared message that includes the app version and your iOS version, so we can make sense of the report. Nothing is sent until you press send, and you can delete any part of the message first. We use emails you send us only to answer you.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Our core promise — the app collects nothing — will not change.
