Colouring
Fifty-seven outline pictures, a palette big enough for small fingers, and a save button for the ones worth keeping.

What it is
A colouring gallery rather than a single picture. It holds the whole PlayKiko cast, a set of fruit and vegetables, cars, planes, boats and a steam train, and ten different bugs.
Everything is drawn as clean outlines with generous areas to fill, so a child who can't yet aim precisely still gets a picture that looks finished.
How to play
Pick a colour from the palette along the bottom, then tap an area to fill it. Pinch to zoom in on small details, and use the undo arrow to step back.
The download button saves the finished picture straight to your photos, which is usually the part children want to show someone.
What it builds
Choosing a colour and deciding where it goes is a small act of planning, repeated dozens of times in one picture. That is more deliberate thinking than it looks.
Colour recognition and naming come along for free, especially if you ask which one they're using. And filling smaller areas as they get older pushes precision gently upwards.
Ages and pace
From around two, with the bigger shapes first. There is no right way to colour anything — a purple cow is a perfectly good outcome.
