Bruno and the stocking
A free Christmas colouring page — A bear with his honey pot, and a stocking hung up within reach.
Free to print at home, at nursery or anywhere else. No sign-up, no email.
What is going on here
A garland runs across the top of the page with a stocking and a bell hanging from it. Bruno stands underneath holding his honey pot, which he is still not giving back.
What is in the picture
The stocking's cuff is separate from the rest of it, which is where the two-colour idea comes from. The garland above is a line of leaves, each one small.
Colouring it with a toddler
Start with the stocking — it is the biggest shape — and treat the garland as the reward at the end.
Thick crayons beat pencils at this age — they need no grip strength and they do not break when a child leans on them. A Christmas scene has more in it than a single animal, so expect it to be done over two sittings rather than one.

The same characters are in the PlayKiko colouring game, where tapping an area fills it and nothing goes outside the lines. Useful on a train, where crayons are a mistake.
