What is going on here
A garland crosses the top of the page with two bells hanging from it, one larger than the other. Zizi hovers underneath with her stripes as narrow as always.
What is in the picture
The bells are wide open areas with a band across the bottom and a clapper below — simple shapes after the stripes on the bee, which are the hardest thing here.
Colouring it with a toddler
Do the bells first and the stripes second. Finishing on the hard part feels better than giving up on it.
Thick crayons beat pencils at this age — they need no grip strength and they do not break when a child leans on them. A Christmas scene has more in it than a single animal, so expect it to be done over two sittings rather than one.
