PlayKiko

Feed the Animals

A rabbit wants a carrot, a cat wants a fish, a cow wants clover. Everything is on the shelf below.

In the full version

A cat, a rabbit and a cow asking for a fish, a carrot and clover

What it is

Three animals appear with a small thought bubble above each, showing what they would like. The food sits on a shelf at the bottom of the screen, and your child carries each item to the right friend.

There are three levels, and the animals and their requests change as you go.

How to play

Drag a piece of food towards an animal. If it is the one they asked for, they take it happily. If not, it slides gently back to the shelf — no buzzer, no red cross.

When all three friends have what they wanted, the round is over.

What it builds

Matching a picture in a thought bubble to an object on the shelf is a first exercise in symbolic thinking: the picture stands for the thing, and the child has to connect the two.

It is also useful vocabulary practice. Carrot, fish, clover, rabbit, cow — naming them out loud while your child chooses turns a quiet game into a talking one.

Ages and pace

Works from around two. Younger children often hand out food at random at first and start matching properly after a few sessions, which is exactly how it should go.
