Who this is
Tobo is the fox with a bushy tail curled around beside him and ears that come to sharp points.
What is in the picture
The tail has a separate tip, which is the detail most children get right without being told — foxes have white-tipped tails and somehow this is common knowledge by the age of three. The pointed ears are a change from all the round ones elsewhere in the set.
Colouring it with a toddler
Pairs well with Wawa the puppy. Printed side by side, the pointed ears and the floppy ones make the difference easy to talk about.
Thick crayons beat pencils at this age — they need no grip strength and they do not break when a child leans on them. Expect the first few attempts to be one colour scribbled across everything; staying inside a line comes later, and it comes on its own.
Colour it on screen instead
Tobo is also in the PlayKiko colouring game, where tapping an area fills it and nothing goes outside the lines. Useful on a train, where crayons are a mistake.
